Our methodology is an equal dollar weighted strategy. This means we design each trade with an equal dollar amount. Because it is a dollar weighted strategy that is subject to drawdowns, you may want a reserve equal to whatever dollar size you commit to. This is so that you can keep equal dollars at work in each trade even during the drawdown. For example, the illustration is $10,000 per trade. This means having an additional $10,000 as a reserve. When trades work, you harvest the excess above $10,000 to the reserve account. When trades don't work, you replenish from the reserve account.
